Dr. Lauren Risalvato received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS. Prior to that, she attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology.
She has always had a passion for alternative medicine and respects the natural flow of the body’s response to illness and life stressors. Furthermore, she acknowledges when the need for medical intervention is necessary and is knowledgeable of natural methods that can be used in conjunction with traditional medicine in order to bring the body back to balance.

Dr. Lauren has been adjusted since she was ten years old after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome. Chiropractic care and proper nutrition played a huge role in the recovery of her nervous system. Since then, she has been an advocate for alternative healing options for people of all ages.
Dr. Lauren has expanded her knowledge in women’s health, pregnancy, and pediatrics on top of the regular chiropractic curriculum and has completed special training with the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association. She is certified and experienced in Webster technique, which has been shown to reduce the effects of intrauterine constraint, allowing a baby to get in an optimum position for birth. She is also a DONA-trained birth doula.
Dr. Lauren uses a wide variety of techniques based on each patient’s individual needs including activator methods, diversified, and Thompson technique. She is committed to promoting the health and wellness of all patients – from pediatrics to geriatrics. She believes one’s true health potential comes from within and works with each patient to reach his or her unique goals.
